High Holiday Schedule 2008

Dear Friends of Temple Beth Or,

 

Shana Tova U’metukah. We are very excited about the High Holidays this year.  Rabbi Mark Kram, our new Rabbi will lead us in worship and has already brought a wonderful new energy and spirit to our community that is sure to enhance your Holiday experience. Enclosed you will find information regarding 2008 High Holiday services and Tishrei membership at Beth Or.

 

Tishrei membership includes all privileges of a full time member, for the period ending October 29th.  If you choose to become a full time member of Beth Or, the Tishrei dues will be credited in full towards the membership cost. 

              

                                               Rosh HaShanah

Monday, September 29th
8:00 PM  -  Erev Rosh HaShanah Service

followed by a dessert Oneg 

 

Tuesday, September 30th
10:00 AM  -  Morning Service


Special Rosh HaShanah

Morning Programs:


10:00 AM  -  Children's & Teen Programs

 Babysitting will be provided after the children's programs for children 3-8 years old

 

Tashlich Service immediately following Morning Service

 

Luncheon hosted by Carol & Jeff Kaminsky (extra cost and reservations required)

 

 

Wednesday, October 1st at Temple Beth Or

Wednesday, October 8th 
8:00 PM  -   Kol Nidre Service

 

Thursday, October 9th 
10:00 AM  -   Morning Service

followed immediately by Yizkor Service

 

Special Yom Kippur

Morning Programs:

10:00 AM  -  Children's & Teen Programs

 Babysitting will be provided after the children's programs for children 3-8 years old.

 

Adult Study Sessions led by Rabbi Mark Kram:
2:15 PM  -  Jonah
3:30 PM  -  Tikkun Olam


5:00 PM  -  Neilah & Havdahlah Service

 

7:00 PM   - Break the Fast (extra cost and reservations required)

 

High Holiday Services will be at Christ The King Lutheran Church located at

11295 SW 57 Avenue.  The church is on the east side of Red Road (57 Avenue)

and is located directly across the street from Pinecrest Gardens (formerly the Parrott Jungle).
