Mazeltov to Larry and Linda Goodman who are grandparents for the second time. Their daughter, Aisha and son-in-law Corey Cherr announce a brother, Leon Charles to their daughter Alina. All are doing well. ..........
April and Scott Miller have recently returned from a wonderful cruise to Athens and the Greek Islands (she rested before she starts her work as Membership chair person).
Tom and Marti Gammon had a wonderful cruise through the Scandinavian countries and Leningad. They were NOT the best dressed on the ship. Their luggage ran amiss and they were in the same clothes until almost the last day ............
Our Bnai Mitzva teacher, Lauren Levy is spending the next month studying voice in Salzburg, Germany.........
Member and Torah School teacher Dan Raab recently had a second book come out in 3 months. It is "Goods in Transit" for which he is contributing author. It is published by Matthew Bender. Congratulations Dan (who is an expert in this field)........
To those of you who missed attending our 4th of July service you missed one rousing service. Led by Jeff Kaminsky, and with 13 of my out of town family members we were all awed by a wonderful patriotic speech by our resident orator, Tom Gammon. He spoke, from the heart, on Patriotism as only Tom can. My granddaughter, Sandee Katz who is a music major at UF Fl took possession of the small bongo and my son who is a graduate of Dana School of Music, brought his guitar. It was Eliza's last time with us for a while as she is off to college.......
The next week Rabbi Kram packed the house in his initial Friday night service. WOW, he let us know that as our head "cheerleader" he was with us to make us grow and flourish. Hope everyone joins him in working towards this goal.........
Get well wishes to Mimi Eager who I belatedly learned fell and injured herself in April and is still recovering.......
Our fervent prayers go to Shirley Pollak who is, again, fighting a battle of poor health. We hope and pray this battle meets a good success.....

Alan and Mindy Eisenberg are making a trip with Josh for orientation at Brandeis and Jen Berse is off with Eliza to NY for her orientation. We'll miss these kids as much as their parents........

The glow you see around me is the aura remaining after a wonderful long weekend having my entire family (4 generations as my great grandson was here too) around for my granddaughters wedding. Sara and Matt were married in a fairy book ceremony at Beth David. A 4th of July weekend I'll long remember.......

We had a wonderful Board retreat (open to the public). People were really inspired by the Rabbi and our new President. Plans are to have more activities and within 24 hours there was a Social for August planned, the return of our wonderful Progressive Dinner and also another of our always well received events, the 2nd night Passover Seder.
