Greta's Gnus - March 2010

 

Hats off this month to our “junkie" Hope Christensen.  She put an antique Seder plate on EBay auction and it sold overnight for $151.51 with the total being donated to Beth Or.  Way to go, Hope......
 
Scott and April Miller  are enjoying an  11 day Panama Canal cruise, which will also take them to Aruba and several other places prior to Scott having knee replacement when they return......
 
I want to thank all of Beth Or for all their support at the Memorial for Sam and after.  It is truly greatly appreciated......
 
A large contingent from Beth Or is heading to Key Largo on April 25 to see Steve Gair and Butch Falgiatore perform in The Producers.  If you want to join us contact, Bette Spector for details.......
 
Have to have a second hats off this month.  Kathy Fisler, who has been hired for 2 half days a week in our office, seems to be on duty 24/7.  She is always there, always doing something.  She is a real gem and a good baker, too!!!  
 
A speedy recovery to Harry Hanauer who had rotator cuff surgery…… 
 
Mazel tov to Merry Jessica Fuerst, daughter of Manya Fuerst, who graduated George Washington University and now has a research position at Johns Hopkins University……  
 
Max Kirkham, grandson of Irene and Tom Elliott, will be working as a counselor this summer at the JRF Camp in the Poconos.  Way to go, Max!!!
