Greta's Gnus - February 2009

Michael and Patricia Newman announce the birth of their first grandson.  Levi Jacob Newman was born on Feb. 3, in Hawaii.  He weighed in at 8lbs 5.3 oz.  Mom and dad (Shawn and Sara) say he is a beautiful boy.  Mazeltov to the family.......

Just found out that Bonnie Rubel, Ozcan Ozdamar and Rebecca Grant went to visit his family in Turkey over the December break.  Bonnie took an intense study course before going so she is now fluent in the Turkish language........

Mazeltov to Harry Hanauer who after a 2 year intense amount of studying is now a docent at Metrozoo.  (he can talk to the animals).........

Good news is that our Rabbi has agreed to extend his contract with us.  We will be fortunate to have him for at least 3 more years.........
