Gnus - September 2008

Mazeltov to Jim and Sandy Weiss on the birth of a grandaughter, Amanda.  She joins brother Corey and mom and dad Amy and Bobby..........

Mazeltov also to Rabbi Mark and wife Mindy.  Their son, David, who is a Medical student in Tel Aviv recently passed his first board certification on the way to become a doctor........

Marcy Prince and her husband Butch escaped Kay as they are vacationing in Spain……..  

And we danced on the tables and we danced on the floor, at the wonderful "surprise" evening that April prepared for us.  A wonderful group of 30 people ended up at Opa on South Beach eating and eating Greek food and having fun.  Thanks April for a fun evening......

Dr. Mike and Patricia were unwinding that night as they and son David had just come back from a 2 week vacation with their son Shawn in Hawaii.  They had a special VIP tour of the Arizona which was interesting.....

Talking of interesting Janie and George Emerson are getting ready for a 3 week trip to Israel in October.  They are going their as volunteer workers

Karen Steinberg-Lewis and Jeff just got back from a wonderful Alaskan cruise that they went on with Jeff's parents and sister and brother in law.  Had a great time......

Isaac Brail, son of Vicki and Jeanne was successful in obtaining a teaching position at a middle school in Lakeland, Florida. This kept Jeanne and Vicki busy settling him into his apartment.  They also attended a conference in St. Augustine where daughter, Dori  (who lives in NYC) flew in to join the family.......
